Des Groseilliers and Radisson, French Fur Traders


On Saturday, October 11, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the French-American Heritage Foundation will sponsor a presentation by Greg Cash who will discuss the French explorers and traders, Médard Chouart de Groseilliers and Pierre-Esprit Radisson, who were the first Europeans to journey to Minnesota in the mid-1600s, and who played an important role in the establishment of the Hudson’s Bay Company.


The cost for this event is $15.00.  Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. The event will be held in the Grande Salle at the Alliance Française, 227 Colfax Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55405.
